Yet another German A400, this one returning home from Beirut. That's the third "54" today, so far. In the German registration system the digits preceding the + designate a type. The + itself is the cross, the roundel of the Luftwaffe you see on all their aircraft. So the Luftwaffe's roundel isn't actually round. The other digits are just sequential. In that system 54 appears to be the A400M-180.Operations
