This build up is very likely related to the rockets fired at the US embassy and the so-called 'green zone' in Baghdad a few days ago. It also jives with the appearance of CROOK223 which appears to be an added flying ATC.

This flooding of the area with KCs and presumably jets also appears to affect the Turkish drones near and in Iraqi air space although the real game changer here appears to be the appearance of the RAF Sentinel on the scene.
