Interesting : a Poseidon flying in from RAF Lossiemouth the home base away from home if the US Poseidons. It could be rotating into Sigonella or on an actual mission off the coast of Lebanon and Syria. It seems unlikely to me that he P8s we regularly see on patrol near Cyprus would fly in and out from Lossiemouth.Operations
