Flying to Rhodes to pick up spies ? I must admit they -- the press -- had me too with their framing. They're making it look like yet another nefarious plot by those dastardly Turks while in fact the "spies" are spotters working from human traffickers, paid to make sure the coast is literally clear to ferry refugees into Europe. Pretty -- ugly -- typical of Kathimerini. In another article they went out of their way to throw in a classic racist dog-whistle, nay foghorn mentioning "the country’s Muslim minority in western Thrace" for no reason at all except to show mainstream 'respectable' right-wing has fully assimilated the Chrysí Avgí -- the now illegal fascist party -- canon.
