CommentThe picture malarkey continues : we're shown a French K35R instead of an Omani C30J.
Did it really not occur to anyone involed that an aircraft's registration is not unique ?
Using the registration as unique identifier -- for the pictures etc -- really is an incredible mistake. Registrations are unique, at least for a while, in a country but other countries, as we clearly see here and many other instances, can have a totally different aircraft registered using the same registration code.
There's a 525 in : Turkey, Oman, Slovakie, Columbia, the UK, Peru, Greece, Monaco, Chile, Bulgaria "et cetera, et cetera, et cetera".
And France has two !
Just goes to show again that domain knowledge, which I'm sure was available at some point and got it all started, is vital.
It appears to be inevitable that when a company takes off, it's bought or sold, the bean-counters take over while Marketing drives a 'team' of coders -- often off-shore -- with zero domain knowledge.
Affinity with the actual product atrofies and quality takes a dive. As long as everybody completes the right Excell-sheets things keep on trucking until the shareholders convince themselves they've found the latest "new orange" to keep their money roling and move on more often than not leaving behind a crater, having wantonly destroyed a valuable resources.
Après nous, le déluge. It's The Economy, stupid !
But hey, look at Elmo and Twitter ! He's a bazillionair, so it must be good.
